Existing Fire Alarm Systems

Every so often a site requires additions to their existing system. Sometimes the existing system can have complicated programming or already be at full capacity. No matter what state the system is in, we have proven experience of finding a solution to meet the sites requirements at the same time as remaining within the confines of BS5839-1.

For example, we were contacted by a nursing home in Warrington. The fire alarm system was at full capacity and required additional field devices adding to the system. Our engineer attended site and installed loop card splitting the original loop into two smaller loops so that the additional field devices could be added to the system. This left spare capacity for future use and to comply with standards.
